The Dekorsy Group operates in the areas of mould and die construction, plastic injection moulding, industrial painting and laser technology and, first and foremost, produces high-quality systems for the automotive industry, in particular, front covers for air-conditioning, navigation and radio devices. Since its foundation in the year 1965, Dekorsy has developed from a pure contract injection moulder to one of the leading manufacturers in the field of front covers and today supplies all renown automobile manufacturers. The Dekorsy Group comprises the Dekorsy GmbH, headquartered in Radolfzell, as well as the companies Dekorsy Kft and Deko Paint Kft in Sopron, Hungary. In 2006, the companies, employing some 450 staff members, achieved a turnover of EUR 25 million.
The traditional firm Wilisch & Sohn was founded in 1805 as a factory for coloured paper and first started plastics processing in 1959, which swiftly replaced the production of paper and cardboard as its core business. Today, Wilisch & Sohn numbers amongst the leading manufacturers in the sphere of operating panels, and supplies all renowned automobile manufacturers. The company employs around 450 staff and generated a turnover of approx. EUR 34 million in 2006.
Elektromotorenwerk Grünhain GmbH & Co. KG
The Elektromotorenwerk Grünhain was founded in 1951 as a member of the collective VEM Antriebstechnik which was state-owned by the GDR until its privatisation in 1993. Since then the company has established itself as a supplier of universal drives for consumer goods, craft, commerce and industry. It produces single phase and three phase AC motors with a performance from 0.06 to 7.5 kW which generate the major part of the turnover as well as flat-bodied motors, open case motors, built-in motors, sealed motors and immersion motors. The focus of EMG is on manufacturing customised high quality products with additional options such as integrated brakes, sensors, plug and switch combinations according to the customers’ individual requirements. Moreover the production facilities include a modern aluminium die casting unit both for EMG’s own use and to sell to the automotive industry amongst others. In 2005/06 the company employed around 200 people and made a total turnover of about 14 million €.
Zehnder Pumpen, Grünhain
Standard Kabelkonfektion GmbH, Grünhain
The product range of Zehnder Pumps GmbH comprises a wide variety of pumps for use in the fields of fresh water, sewage and sanitary facilities for waste water technology, industry and building services. Besides the manufacturing of sewage ejection units, pump stations and submersible sewage pumps, special technology is used to produce containers of plastic PE and PP which can be very flexibly adapted to the requirements of the market. The Standard Kabelkonfektion GmbH manufactures fitted cable connections, float switches/level switches, plastic injection moulding parts and electronic level controllers for the range of products of Zehnder Pumps as well as external customers. In 2006 the company employed around 44 people and made a total turnover of about 7 million €.
Mengele Agrartechnik, Waldstetten
The Bohnacker AG distributes high quality farm equipment such as loader wagons, dump trucks and corn choppers, sold under the brand name Mengele Agrartechnik. Founded in 1872, Mengele Agrartechnik became the worldwide leading company in the area of loader wagons in the 1990s. Following management and organisational problems, the brand was taken over by Bohnacker AG at the end of 2002 and carefully rebuilt through focusing on quality and reliability. Today the company has manufacturing facilities in Waldstetten and produces primarily loader wagons, dump trucks, manure distributors, choppers and other equipment for farmers and threshing contractors. The Mengele Agrartechnik brand is familiar to all farmers and continues to stand globally for leading high quality products in the field of agricultural engineering.
A. Hanhart GmbH & Co. KG, Gütenbach
A. Hanhart GmbH & Co. KG, founded in 1882, is an independent German manufactory of stop watches and chronographs. Hanhart watches stand for tradition and decades of history. In the 1920s the first stop watches are produced, which still today are the major business segment of the manufactory. A few years later the production of pocket watches and wristwatches starts. In the 1930s the first chronographs for aviators are manufactured. Since the end of the 1990s replicas of the legendary chronographs are manufactured and successfully distributed. In 2006 one new chronograph and two new wristwatches with three watch hands are added to the Hanhart product line.
